1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit and a written confirmation from Trident Escapes. Provisional bookings may be held for up to 48 hours, after which they are released without notice.
- A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking.
- Full payment is due no later than 30 days before the departure date.
- For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.
- Bookings are confirmed in writing via email. Please check your confirmation carefully and notify us of any errors within 48 hours.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations.
3. Changes & Amendments
If you wish to amend your booking (dates, package, number of travelers), please contact us as soon as possible. Amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
- Date changes within 30 days of departure are treated as cancellations and re-bookings, and cancellation charges may apply.
- Trident Escapes reserves the right to make minor itinerary changes due to weather, local conditions, or force majeure events. We will notify you of any significant changes as soon as possible.
- If we are forced to make a major change, you may choose an alternative package of similar value, a future credit, or a full refund.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in our packages. We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Your policy should cover:
- Trip cancellation and curtailment
- Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
- Loss or theft of baggage and personal belongings
- Flight delays and missed connections
Trident Escapes accepts no liability for losses that would have been covered by appropriate travel insurance.
5. Travel Documents & Visas
You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold valid travel documents for all destinations on your itinerary, including:
- A passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date
- All required visas and entry permits
- Any required vaccination certificates or health documentation
We can provide general guidance on visa requirements but cannot be held responsible for refusal of entry or visa rejection. Visa and documentation requirements can change; always verify with the relevant embassy before travel.
6. Health & Safety
- You must disclose any medical conditions, disabilities, or dietary requirements at the time of booking that may affect your participation in activities.
- Some activities (trekking, adventure sports) carry inherent physical risks. Participation is at your own discretion and risk.
- You must comply with all safety instructions given by our guides and local operators.
- Trident Escapes reserves the right to remove any traveler from a tour if their behaviour poses a risk to themselves or others.
7. Liability & Limitation
Trident Escapes acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, transport companies, and other third-party suppliers. We are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, delay, or damage caused by the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers.
Our liability for any claim arising from our own negligence is limited to the total price paid for the package. We are not liable for:
- Force majeure events — natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, strikes, or other events beyond our control
- Loss of or damage to personal belongings
- Indirect or consequential losses
8. Photography & Marketing
Trident Escapes may take photographs or videos during tours for marketing purposes. By participating in a tour, you consent to your image being used in our promotional materials unless you notify us in writing before departure that you do not wish to participate.
9. Complaints
If you have a complaint during your trip, please report it to your tour guide or local contact immediately so we can attempt to resolve it. Complaints raised only after the trip is over are harder for us to address.
